a little reflection
once again there was a sstisfaction upon completion of the camp successfully. the only pity wasn't being able to interact with the kids as much as we would like to have. also couldn't join in a lot of games as the preparation took up quite a lot of time. nonetheless the little time i spent with the group, i enjoyed myself tremendously. once again the kids reach down to my heart and made me realize jus how much they require help. this time round, i am touched not only by the kids but by the volunteers as well. for each of them put in the heart to care for those kids. humanity is still all around. knowing that the kids enjoyed the games also brought immerse satisfaction to us...:)
looking ard us, there are so many people who require the help of us. these special kids have a pure heart and a simple mind. interacting with them, they made us forget just wat rat races are all about. they made us realise the simple things that would content us. yes not only they will miss us. we will miss them too. they taught us as much as we taught them. each smile that this kids gave us, it came from their heart. wat one volunteer told me was: as long as you treat them nice, they would treat you jus as nice. all i wanna say to the kids are: thank you. thank you for leaving us with so much memories and thank you for making us smile with all the simple things u have done. all of them are so willing to see us smile for them too. each and everyone of them is special. its a camp that made my hoilz so meaningful. overall all the lack of sleep, camp preparation was worth it...:) enjoyed myself totally...
finally i have to say: thank you for coming down with kit kats. the kids love them lots! thank you for the heart and the thought. though it was a short stay, i hope you enjoyed yourself and perhaps had some meaningful take away. *smilez*
