current mode: exhausted.
had both 304 and 306 quizes today, lunch and immediately rushed for driving. reached on the dot after walking super fast from the mrt. that sums up my day. with another report due tmr, that's the last of my assignments and quizes for this sem.
as usual, many thoughts ran through my mind. guess one of the main issue bugging me is the honors i m going to grad with in relation to s/u-ing of electives. currently, i m seriously hanging on to the edge of 2nd upper, being able to lose it really easily with my remaining 2 cores being 304 and 306. yet i came with the decision to s/u both my electives which are so hard to get As. i decided to leave it to my core results to determine ultimately whether i deserve a second upper. sure it was a difficult decision to make. recalling those years i have worked hard to get me where i m today while reminising those yr2 days when my results suffered terribly. the uni system is a unique system in which students have the opportunity to select the modules they want to take and the grades are not judged on the same basis. it differs from the pri to jc system when at least a class will be judged based on the same subjects. i guess my failure to adopt the appropriate choice of subjects coupled by my initial misconception leading to disinterest of accounting get me the results i have now. if strictly we are only allowed to use accounting modules to determine my grades, i know i don't deserve a 2nd upper ba. hence my final decision. a tough choice, but i'll stick to it, hoping i wldn't stress myself over it.
over and done with the serious topics of my choices. went for some warehouse sales when i made one of the most embarrassing moments of my life. lol. shall spare readers the story except that it involved an uncle and the word darling. shall leave the readers to their imaginable. *strictly no details will be released but readers can entertain themselves with the possibilities.* eh its worse than having nightmare. i realized sales tactics don't work on me unless it's sth i like.
first incident: 1 pair of novo shoes for $15, 3 pairs for $20. many ladies were practicaly grabbing 3 pairs each. yet there wasn't any pair that i really like. walked off empty-handed despite the good bargain.
second incident: a saying goes: diamond is a girl's best friend. yet somehow they don't attract me, either cos i've no money so i don't even have the desire to own one or there just isn't a need. it looks nice but i can't imagine wearing sth worth hundreds or thousand dollars. even if i own one, i rather not wear them for fear of attracting unwanted attenion. to buy them for investment purposes? haha maybe get me sth else.
also realized i m totally not a shopaholic, so shall move on to other topics besides shopping. it's do report time now.

simplicity.
a simple piece of pink cloth that costs $20 was all that made me touched deep down. i love that cloth lots cos of its usefulness. it was the meaning behind it that signifies deeper. though it was a simple gesture, it meant much more. it's the 2nd pink 'shawl' that bears a meaning behind cos of the giver. haha i realize i m seriously simply contented :)

interestingly, every day is a great day nowadays. there may be some ups and downs, yet only the ups were noticed. decided to spend a moment blogging about today.
just caught the manU vs liverpool match. admittedly, i m not a great fan of football nor do i supports a particular team cos i don't actively seek to keep a lookout for their matches. however, i know manU vs liverpool would be one i wld definately be interested to watch. in every match caught, it would be definately more interesting if u support a team. so which did i support? manU. why? just cos i know a few more players and heard of them more frequently or cos i happen to take more notice of their names in the newspaper. wells, i guess the match was well deserved for liverpool cos man U's defence wasn't performing in the first half. haha shall not dwell too much into it since there are definately better commendators around. on a personal note, it was an interesting match to catch, at an appropriate timing and setting.
went for the supreme court open house today too. yupz enjoyed myself throughly with the tour, with some civil hearings and humpty dumpty case. it reinforced and rekindled my interest in business law too. wahaha the game was a bonus, with a shoe bag for gift! lalala...i think today had been a meaningful day, one thoroughly enjoyed. *smilez*
on a side note, the delay in commencement of work brings about a new sphere to think about.

haha the holidays update.
wells, the only photos i have memories of are the birdpark. bleah...the rest i haven't receive/ didn't take photos.
anyway back to birdpark. well i rmb going for class one morning, where my groupmates excitedly pointed out to the 2009reasons to celebrate on the front of Today, offering free tickets for the first 2009 people every weekend for 3 weeks to selected places. haha instead of paying attention to class, the whole group whipped out our phone to text. LOL. that's how we got a free pass into the birdpark! mm wells despite having a late night out the night before, i prepared a mini lunchset and was woken up by my bro (who was also going to queue for flyer), hence we were among the first few in the queue which we realized was a huge mistake cos i reach ard 7am which was way too early. haha wells, it definately was a nicer experience from the previous time i went to sweep the roads in pri sch. saw a few interesting birds, like the majestic ones to cute ones. haha the lovebirds seriously come in pairs!
random shots.
forced to smile widely despite feeling tired.
imitating him.
oh this was a beautiful swan which displayed its wings magnificantly for us. cos the nxt time we went past, it was back to normal. though this photo may not have captured the best moment, it was really stunningly beautiful. so birdpark started the first day of holiday.
