back at home last night. thought i could finish biz law tutorial before sleeping. alas, my bro came into my room n happily settled on the bed. my hope of completing the tutorial was dashed. haa...no i m not complaining. jus stating facts. hmm...amazing. how come we often have so much things to talk about that we can end up chatting for 3+hrs continously! lol, i guess life is full of conversational topics-neverending. it definately took away my fatigue, stress etc. yah both of us in dilemma. at least i said mine out so i m feeling less troubled. hai ya, u refused to say, prefering to go into your cave. so secretive! u n your pride. nvm shall not intrude your privacy.
but i still cannot bring myself to face the consequences of my actions. u have said it so explicitly and i understood. procastinating isn't solving the problem, jus delaying the process of me feeling the effects. still, i m bidding for time n hoping that i can find a perfect solution. not easy, meanwhile shall n think bout it anymore. :)
glad to have so many different gps of ppl to talk to me bout different aspects of life.
generally complaints and sharing of life-cj
remininizing bout the past-parry, cl
cheering me up wif lots of jokes-hall 9 cheerleaders
putting a smile on my face at all the right times-ct
my love for outdoors-mr
troubles-xy
and many many more, too many to list all down!! lol but i m still looking for 2 more ppl to talk to me bout financial management(ws?) n politics. cos i m interested in these areas. but before that, i wld need to learn more bout these areas first. :)
oh ya! jus got motivated to study by 2 things n ppl today!
looking forward to the b'dae celebration we will hold after exams for parry n val

stressed? unfortunately no doubts. i donno what exactly i m stressed about. prob at this time exams and expectations. stress is sth that we impose on ourselves, not what others give you. i don't want to feel stress but it is sth that i can't help feeling either. perhaps all these arise out of our own expectations to achieve our aims, at least this is what i think. concentration low these few days. been having lack of sleep of this whole week-feeling tired, frustrated, easily irritated. i wonder why i have so many thoughts going thru my mind this week, thinking too much is not good for health but wat's wrong with me?! finally the week is over, think i just wanna have time to myself, to just rest well ba.
just a random question. i consulted my bro once about his opinion on staying in hall. he asked me this. is hall life all about having fun? do ppl actu study tgt? yah so far it has been fun. but studying tgt? perhaps not ba. just my own opinion, studying tgt actu bonds ppl tgt too. cos after studying hard tgt, everyone wld enjoy the fun times tgt even more cos just wanna relax n have fun tgt. but this is jus a random thought. i don't forsee myself asking ppl to study with me neither am i looking for ppl to study with me. jus reminimizing the times i spent studying with my classmates back in VJ. yah i do miss VJ sometimes too despite all the stress we had back then. also cos we worked hard tgt as a class and this leaves us feeling great when the exams finally ended.
perhaps my mind just wanna rest. perhaps i m not being myself. thinking too much, too deep.

chill out day :)
lunched wif val n parry-so hard to meet up wif u lorz...have to plan beforehand jus to eat lunch with u! haa, jus a small card to wish u happy b'dae. don't worry, we'll meet up after exams to celebrate a proper one for u! :)
came back hall n relaxed all the way till its time to make my way down to clarke quay. had dinner wif the odacers to celebrate sean's n hock's b'dae. really glad to have gone down tonight cos no doubts i enjoyed myself. :) initially i was distracted the whole day cos i wasn't exactly keen on going with so many things to do and cos of other reasons such as my reservations bout certain things. nonetheless my conscious was bugging me for all the lost outings etc, so in the end, i went. a decision that i wld never regret. :)
we had dinner at some fish place-oops i can't rmb the name-haa all of us ordered the cheapest meal, dory fish and chips. portion was great n the meal was wonderful, totally worth the money! after which was cutting cake session. hohoho that swensons ice-cream cake was really yummy...
after dinner was chilling out at some fashionbar-each of us ordered different drinks to try out the various taste. i could taste the alcohol in my-some strawberry favor drink. haa...realised that i pay jus so little attention to all the details ard me! over there, we hanged ard for some time chatting n playing childhood games-lol seems lye we r still the same, playing 7-up, big fish etc...of course not forgetting the photo taking mania we had over at the bar. :)each of us had so much to catch up wif one another as well. jus talk n talk for the whole night. :) ya, had lots of fun jus chatting n playing games. the night passed quickly and soon we had to leave-esp those who have sch tmr.
one and onli photo that i stole fm shiqi's blog. lol :)...will get the rest of the photos n post them too! this are those who took train home. the rest? haa...they have cars to drive back to the east! lucky them, leaving all those ntu ppl n those staying in the north. oh ya...missed the last bus n had to take cab back wif jp n sq...so don't try reaching boon lay on the last train if u wanna take bus back hall.
the day ended off with a group of ppl enjoying ice-cream in my room. lol, by the time i came back, no ice-cream was left. hmm...nvm i think the taste of ice-cream cake will fulfill my desire for ice-cream for really long :) came back room n laughed some more-wah! pity my poor tummy, laughed lots today but the feeling is wonderful
time to do IT now...:)

tagging game :)
"this is what you are supposed to cut and paste if you decide to participate in the tagging game.. People who get tagged need to write in a blog of their own 6 weird things about themselves as well as state the rules clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. After you do that, leave them each a comment letting them know you tagged them and to read your blog."
okayz, 6 werid things bout myself-hope u enjoy yourself while reading.:)
1) gets really attached to my bolster-ah girl-and would refuse to sleep without it at home. since staying in hall, have 2 bolsters so don't really care bout bolsters anymore
2) likes to keep the windows of my room closed at night cos i m paranoid of flying bugs that are attracted to the lights entering my room
3) used to sing at the top of my voice at the back of lorry when it passes through tunnels along expressways. cos i don't wanna ppl to hear me sing
4) was annoyed by the lizards in my hse that i attempted to wash one away in the bathroom by spraying water at the tiles near it. in the end i was freaked out cos it jus slided down the walls and was washed towards me! lol
5) cannot sleep with long pants or even blankets cos i would feel stuffy. i would rather let my toes be numbed den to cover myself up in blankets.
6) attempted to walk home from TK once by following bus 197 route. haha no doubt i gave up and took a bus after walking for 30-45 mins.
oops didn't know i m so werid! haha...okayz shall tag the following ppl, hope u can share with us the werid things u did jus to amuse ourselves. :)
1) elaine
2) kelly
3) jenny
4) yy
5) hui qun
6) ching huey
okayz, that's all bout the tagging game. shall move on n blog bout sth else which is whether or not to stay in hall nxt yr. before staying in hall, i thought i had decided that i would only be staying in hall for 1 yr. however, over these 2 semesters, i have came to realize and enjoy what hall life is all about. gradually, my stand begins to shift. now, i m in a dilemma and has a 50-50 chance of staying.
perhaps the reason behind this change is the people i have come to know and grown close to. staying in hall is like staying in a small village where it is rather inaccessible to go travel out often. neighbours cum friends are people that we mingle with so often for dinner or jus to hang out tgt. all of us are sort of dependent on one another in a way or another. they are the reasons that make me unwilling to leave. in hall, i have also been exposed to many activities which would otherwise be left untried-suppers, running at night, hall activities(including cheerleading and ubin stayover) and many many things. but i know that in this one yr i've immersed myself in hall life, juggling between work and play. definately no regrets about staying in hall this yr but what bout nxt yr?
there are of course many reasons that are stopping me from staying in hall too. family is one big reason. i know that i have neglected my family the past yr, spending very little time interacting with them. each time i m home, i always have so much things to clear that conversations are minimised to dining table. my parents have showered me with so much care and concern that it makes me feel guility. yea, i know that sometimes my parents feel that the house has gone rather quiet compared to the past and i really do not want them to feel lonely at home etc. perhaps many people would say that it would only be a matter of time when they have to accept that their children have grown up but right now, i think its still too early.
nxt yr, my second bro wouldn't be in singapore too. i remembered my promise to pass him my laptop when i decided to purchase it. whether i can keep this promise depends on whether i m staying in hall too. home will always be the best place to be. at home, i feel so comfortable and relaxed. each time i m home, i jus don't exactly look forward to coming back hall.
with so many deciding factors, i m at a lost. no one can decide for me cos it is ultimately my choice. personally, i know that saving time is just my excuse for staying in hall. afterall i have been used to travelling far since secondary sch.
often it is weighing between the heart and the head. this time round, my heart is split and i really can't decide. hall or home? once i have made up my mind, i know i wouldn't look back. for now, i will just see how each day, each week goes and meanwhile, have the time of my life, both at home and in hall. :)

touched n thank u :)
tonight was another night when i realised just how wonderful it is to have great friends! so shall start off by thanking 4 special ppl-elaine, jun feng, parry n cheeling.
okayz, shall narrate things one at a time. the night started off with colours award ceremony where the efforts of niners are recognised. received the award-half colour and special recognition for participating in IHG and cheerleading. nothing much happen though clapped till hands got tired. lol, onli finger food was served so didn't really ate much.
i guess wat makes tonight more interesting was the run i had after CAC. cheeling jio me to run with parry n herself at 11pm. running is sth that i wouldn't mind most of the time so well, agreed rather readily. anywae, first time for the 3 of us to be running tgt, despite the numerous times we tried to organize. ran the 179 route, thought it was a great run! well, no doubts that cheeling n parry both can run very fast la! after which, we shared this can of 100+. lol cos onli cl brought money out, so 3 of us ended up sharing that can. ended up toting there till 1:50am. haiz reminds me so much of our time back in vj when we had time to jus chat n joke ard. realised jus how precious it is to have good friends to talk your heart to, share everything with each other etc. wonder when the 7 of us can come tgt again and jus have all the time to tot! hopefully during the 3 mths break!
after which, i was touched by elaine-my one and onli roomie! :)- and jun feng! heyz, thanks for being so sweet n nice to actu come out of hall 9 to look for me at 1:50am! big hugs :) i guess it jus ended a great day, knowing that i m surrounded my great friends all ard me. friends who care for me. friends who understand me. thank you.
always appreciate those ppl ard u. cos they are the ones who brighten up your day. :)

subcom appreciation night
jus a quick update bout last week. had 2 quizes. been a rather busy week of mugging. after which i went for 2 midnight runs:) haha have to praise my roomie for running wif me twice-really good job roomie for being so sporting n running wif me! :)
the first run was to relax after our second quiz while the other one was jus to sweat it out! well done roomie for trying your best in both runs! :)
had subcom appreciation dinner wif Roteract on fri night. enjoyed the dinner though we highly suspect that it originates from hall 11. lol. was jus a night to recognize all the efforts put in by all the subcommers and photo-taking nitez. though i hasn't been very active in the cca(verified by the no of activities i went from the video), i was really gratified to YD head-hooi ying for being so accommodating to her subcommers. though i don't feel attached to Roteract, i had enjoyed my cca in the past yr. esp Metta Camp with the theme STARS. it was the most meaningful camp in my life so far and really widened my world. it brought to light how fortunate we are and how pure the kids are. unforgettable camp which touches me even up till now. besides that, i also leant some handicraft skills such as keychains, simple art etc...
basically, Roteract is a meaningful cca. wat's in store for me dis week? colours award ceremony, last banner painting, hopefully steamboat to end the week off...:)
with exams coming soon...jia you everybody! :)

getting emotional over things?!
many thoughts to sort out, but where to start?
glad to be on your calling list-sometimes getting a call from an old fren is jus what you need to brighten up your day. recalling those days when u wld jus ring me up to chat, to destress, to exchange news with each other. really glad u did rmb to ring me up today, to share your joy with me. of course, i m happy for you. of course, i m glad to be those u actu rmb to call when u r happy or upset. :)-i know u will prob be one of the buddies i don't see often yet, i know u'll always be there...
proud n seriously happy for u-perhaps because i know u really well, so i know how u have been feeling and thinking for the past 2 yrs. i know how tough things have been going for you. but u have always been my role model, so continue to jia you in whatever u do. proud that u finally received your schlorship-sth i think u long deserve for your efforts.
the above 2 are dedicated to 2 ppl in my life who made a difference to my life in the past 2 days-lol onli 20 yrs-:)
still many not-so-pleasant thoughts in my mind. shall not mention it here...

1 week holiz is not enough for work and play...
1 week holiz. so short yet really fulfilling.
a quick update on my current state
current state of body: seriously lack of sleep, full of bruises, sunburn
current state of mind: blur, sleepy, half-awake
current state of health: ageing faster than expected due to lack of sleep or no sleep
current state of activity: blogging after a 1 night camp at ubin
shall have a review of the recent 2 events- ice-skating and camping
HORRAY!! i finally learnt a bit more bout ice-skating! it was really fun despite falling down numerours times...:) definately worth the money...lol. the feeling of skating on ice was unimaginable. haha maybe watched too much of disney on ice etc...cos it gives transquity to be skating on the smooth surface...n we saw a couple of children(~10 yrs old) skating so professionally on the ice-ring that really makes you marvel at how gracefully they dance on ice. impressed and captivated by them is an understatement! they also do make me reflect upon myself at how inflexible i am on ice...haha...the attention should not be on the children, should be on the ninners skating!! nothing much, jus that it was fun to be skating, learning and falling down tgt on the ring. :)
friday night was spent camping in ubin. quite an experience! despite the busy schedule everyone has, 8 of us came tgt to go over to ubin to camp overnight. just couldn't resist the urge to say a big thank you to the guys who went really well-prepared and manage the fire throughout the night! faces the challenge to entertain us through the wee hrs of the morning and so relentlessly cooked the food!
the night passed quickly with eating, playing, sharing of stories by ah gong, chit-chatting and performance by ah gong and kuang leong. haha there was also a constant debate over whether it's better to eat shit or vomit. hahaz imagine who would actu have thought of this qns! not forgetting the butt drying session we had over the fire etc...
okayz...that's all for updates now. shall remain a hermit over the next few weeks le...time to hit my books! :)
