dinners.nite cycling.kayaking

been a really busy week after cny. had cny dinner at mayflower restaurant. haha i think the food is not really worth $10. the following night was bbq for programmers. dinner was served at 9:30pm cos had make-up lect. was starving when i came back hall. but onli ate a bit, ended up eating instant noodles in room. haha...think i have enough of bbq food le...

fri night was night cycling!! first time for me! wahaha definately sth worth remembering...:) glad that i wasn't allowed to go for night cycling wif the odacers the other time. heard they took the highway, cycled hills etc. haha...i think this time night cycling is relatively safe for first-timers like me.:) sustained a couple of blue-blacks. haha make me wonder whether i am cycling or knocking myself against the bike most of the time...so careless.

love the ecp stretch where we are free to cycle freely n entertained ourselves trying out various stunts. many ppl learnt to cycle free-hands! attempted to try too but i was timid and didn't really dare to let go of my hands for long. nonetheless, i felt that i accomplished a bit. n not forgetting the part where many ppl attempted to lift up their legs tgt. haha i was at the back n thought it looks really funny!! nxt time we shld have that taken down on camera! :)

was stoning quite a bit on my way back pasir ris. almost kissed a tree. hahaz. all in all, enjoyed night cycling, wouldn't mind going for it again...:)

the highlight of the night-yy stepping on *ahem* shit?! haha...

despite napping for onli 1hr on the way back sch, i still went for biz law tutorial. super proud of myself loz. at least i attempted to listen for 1 qns...:) after which was home sweet home. had a really good sleep.

after a day of rest, it's kayaking time!

went sea sports club at pasir ris to kayak. though onli kayak a bit, was badly sun-burnt. had a little coordination probs wif my partner initially. sorrie bout that...haha now i looked lye some roasted animal. haha shocked my mum when i reached home. i miss kayaking!! and all the expeditions i used to have in odac. the events in hall remind me so much of my days in odac-nite cycling, kayaking, and ubin coming up. perhaps if they are not events that i enjoyed, i would not have taken part in all the activites. haha but i really do miss them! :)

wat's coming up? ice-skating tmr and pulau ubin camping...:) a busy holiz. time flies! nxt 2 weeks wld be full of tests n quiz, coupled wif presentations and projects. for now, let me enjoy myself this holiz! :)

cny wif mixed feelings

happy chinese new year ppl!!

mixed feelings. perhaps i m happy, perhaps i m just covering up what i m feeling. collecting angbaos for 2 days in a row, catching up with family members definately leaves one feeling contented. somehow, this year, there is a tinge of sadness. knowing that it wld be hard for us to have another reunion dinner within the nxt 2 yrs makes me treasure this yr's steamboat esp more. knowing that my eldest bro wld be flying off tonight leaves me feeling worse.

everyone is feeling out of sort this yr. i think everyone feels the same way as me, just that all of us are trying hard not to express our unwillingness to part. it is never easy to say goodbye. i don't want to say goodbye, i jus want to say take care and enjoy your trip. for my eldest bro, 6 months would fly by. for my second bro, 2 yrs wld be over before you know it.

i donno wat to say. jus thought that i shld say a big thank u! both of you have been wonderful bros, always being there whenever i need help, always lending a listening ear...i know how both of you feel about leaving and i really do not want to make it harder for you to leave. just thought that i shld say that both of you wld be missed at home. home wld not be the same without u. no matter how tough things wld be going there, there will always be moral support back at home! :) so go all out to enjoy yourself there! :)

well...preparations for friendship day started on monday. haha...elaine n i decided to try our hands at baking cookies! first time loz...glad that the cookies turn out okayz in the end...though we really put in lots of efforts into it!...haha for more details, take a look at the pictures! :)

thursday=chill out day.

hohoho...the chill out started off wif lunch wif my tutorial classmates in orchard! haha yahz...we travelled all the way to orchard to have lunch..haha even some of those that stayed in hall went! :) haiz...but must admit that i was kinda of bored watching them eat cos i ate very little...

night was spent at suntec by my dear SSS frenz!! HOHOHO!!! miss all of ya lots n all the times we spent tgt! tonight's highlight was of course xiu ling-b'dae gal maz!

dinner was really really filling n tasted marvalous! haha how can i say it's not nice when i spent $20 on it...-dinner at kenny rogers-wohohoho...had ribs loz...

megafest is over!!

well firstly wanna say a big THANK YOU to those frenz who came down tonight!! BIG HUGS!! thanks for jus turning up, esp serena n pari n my tutorial frenz!! though this is jus a small carnival...i m really really glad that u all came down. hope u all didn't feel too disappointed though cos i must say that it's jus a small event! haha i guess that this is the wat megafest is about-getting your frenz to come to your hall n have fun! n to enjoy ourselves too-well hope u all enjoyed the food too!! muahahaha i promise that the nxt time your hall has special events, i'll go too!! :)

wat is megafest? it's sort of a carnival that ppl fm outside hall 9 is invited to celebrate hall 9's birthday! there r FOOD, games-include some dunking machine- and performances. :)

i m part of the stall selling waffles n corn! special recognition shld be given to yihui loz...for being there almost the whole night...oh no...sorrie but have to admit that i was skiving away during my time slot....oops...

haha the waffles was nice loz...though i m going to avoid eating it for some time. i guess many ppl prob doesn't know wat we did to the waffles during the process-haha i m definately not going to divulge unsighly things that we did!

well...the food for megafest was not bad. lots of food-bee hoon, yaki tori, ice-cream, jelly, corns, chocolate dip etc etc. oh no..the more i mention these food the more guility i feel!

haiz but heard that rachel lost her phone on the way back to hall...n i feel kind of bad...cos i was thinking it might be jus after i called her on her phone! *sigh*i hope u'll get it back soon but i m not really very optimistic bout it though...afterall it is always very difficult to get back a lost phone...somemore u jus changed your phone...

well...also went for a short jog wif elaine jus now, out of guilitiness of eating so much ______ food! wohohoho! elaine actu ask me whether wanna go for a run!! such a huge surprise! haha i really wonder when will be the nxt time she'll ask me to run again! haha...

hmm...we stopped ard hall 14 fitness corner where i noticed the stars!! wohohoho...for once i experience the feeling of stary stary night!! so many stars up in the sky..it is seriously nice-haha i wouldn't mind staying there longer to jus look at the sky! (unfortunately, i know nuts bout stars n their constellations)

feeling really really guility now

haiz...jus posted sth a few hrs ago...but decided to post again...cos feeling downright guility now...oh no! jus wanna apologize to my group mates ba...haiz...shld have realized that the no wasn't correct!! haiz...shld have called instead of msg...shld have done my tutorial earlier...shld have...shld have...so many shld haves. i guess this jus add on to me feeling even worse! BIG HAIZ...nvm, i promise the nxt presentation preparation wld be much much better! :)

hmm...oh ya!! xiu ling's b'dae is coming in 1.5 hrs!!! HEYZ!! happy happy birthday to u gal!!hohoho...can't wait to see u all on thurs!! :) it has been some time since we all meet up n talk n talk n talk!

this week will have lots of good food to eat! megafest! dinner wif SSS(except merd) n bbq!! OH NO i think i have been eating too much bbq food this year!! can we have steamboat instead?? haha i think it's a little heathier!! haha den maybe cny period will eat steamboat until i get xian of it...but rightz now...i m looking forward to steamboat!! :)
