MAY 2009.
Grad trip.
There are so many things to say about it, so many photos of the places been to, so many memories of 13 days roaming around 2 countries with 3 cameras and 4 ppl. right now, there are so many things to say that i don't know where to start. bus journeys, walking, train rides, rushing, photo mania, hotels, washing machine, food, map. can't thank enough of the 3 ppl who travelled together alongside with me. for the researches done, for the companion.
Graudation.
More or less, our graduation results are out. did a little better than expected, yet it was definately welcomed. managed to achieve my goal. horrays. sums up the month really well.
Afterthoughts.
Recalling at the end of my exams, i didn't have a sense of achievement cos i didn't see any results or rewards of my efforts put in. right after my exams ended, there was no usual after exam celebration, instead there was just a driving lesson which i had to forced it into schedule to fulfil a school requirement. moreover, the reason i had tuition is to earn additional income to cover the costs of grad trip and driving. i've indeed learnt much independence financially since i managed to cover the entire costs of my grad trip solely based on my tuition income while still trying to cover up for half my driving expenses now. having my allowances cut off since jan really made me work hard for the sem and prepare me for what awaits when i have to start paying off tuition loan debts.
but i m glad i received most/all the fruits of my efforts in may cos it strengthens my belief to work hard to achieve one's goals. currently, new goals are being seeked to be achieved for the rest of the yr.

ahhhh me update again! AHHhhh cos i m very happy, so happy that i can run around and around in circles, jump up and down like a kangaroo and anyhow wobble around the streets. all because of...tata!
I passed driving first time round! woohoo! if u asked me why i m so happy, it's unexplainable. lol. maybe cos i finally see my first reward for putting in efforts for the entire sem. but i can't credit the passing to my skills cos i don't see my driving as very zhai, in fact, very not zhai. i guess the instructor was lenient and kind, seeing a hopeful face on me. afterall, i drive through yellow lights at the junction cos i was too close to the line at the traffic light (think he nv even give me demerit points for that). also, i brake so hard at one junction while trying to shift gear 4 to 3 to 2, but the pickup speed of the car in front of me was so slow that he didn't move off fast enough at the junction. in the end, i stop so close to the car and the tester kept asking 'why did u do that? why did u do that?' at that point, i thought he wld have given immediate failure. alrights i was awarded 8 demerits points. luckily my circuit was good! not much demerit points..*beams* horrays!

random posts, random thoughts.
a few days back, i had a long conversation with my eldest bro, one that lasted till 4:30am in the morning despite having a long day the nxt day for both of us. it made me realize 2 things.
1) conversations with family is more frank, more down to earth and more heart-to-heart. they probably make me speak from the bottom of my heart which definately no one else can.
2) men are from mars, women are from venus
being from the same family background, we share many common values. yet i realize my 2 bros are more similar than they realized. surprisingly. cos they definately have differences which are immediately noticable. the 2 being driven by the same thing, which on the other hand, doesn't drive me at all. looking at how well each of us have become, i m proud of them. one travelling around the world visiting and leaving footprints in places i can only dream of (europe, italy, sahara-ah maybe it'll only be in my dream that i get to ride a camel. yet my disbelieving eyes see u riding one. maybe i'll jus pin my hope on getting onto a horse one day.) the other, always a figure of respect to the 2 younger siblings. but i treasure the conversations with them more through which i see perspectives of various issues. it is not that smartness i admire, it is their drive and being themselves. i realize, to be someone i love, he/she has to be someone i respect.
*smilez* 3 more days.
